About Angharad


Angharad is our welsh speaking family law solicitor here at Morgans. She qualified as a solicitor and was admitted to the roll in 2015.

Angharad studied her A Levels at Brecon High School through the medium of welsh and went on to do a Law degree at Swansea University. Qualifying with a 2:1 she then worked for a year at JNP Legal, a law firm and specialised in personal injury and family law work.

She then moved to practice in Abergavenny, working in family, property & Wills and Probate departments at local firms. Whilst working in Abergavenny, Angharad enrolled at the University of Law, Bristol, in 2012 and successfully completed her Legal Practice Course in 2014. 

Practice Areas

At Morgans Angharad runs the family department along with her assistant Sue Hoffrock. Together they give clients the peace of mind they need during a distressing time.

As well as family law Angharad has expertise in property matters, Wills, Probate, Court of Protection and Powers of Attorney matters.

Angharad is approachable and always takes a very positive and proactive approach to her work. She will usually see clients at our Abergavenny office but also attends upon clients at home where they are unable to get to the office.


Angharad is an Abergavenny local, having been brought up in Crickhowell and attending the Welsh Language stream at Brecon High School. She currently lives close by in Crickhowell with her family, their dog Zeus and cat Colonel Mustard.

Hobbies & Interests

As well as working as a solicitor Angharad is a trustee of the registered charity Hedgehog Helpline and is qualified in treating sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs.  

Angharad is also the regional co-ordinator for Pembrokeshire on behalf of the Sea Watch Foundation, a marine conservation charity who monitor and protect whales, dolphins and porpoise around the British coast.

In addition to all this, Angharad co-ordinates the "Reaching Romania" Christmas shoebox appeal for orphans, children in poverty, widows and the disabled. Usually this involves filling up to 400 shoeboxes!
