Fred is a Solicitor here at Morgans.
Fred studied his A Levels at King Henry VIII School in Abergavenny and went on to study Law at Aberystwyth University. Gaining his degree in 2012 he then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course between 2012-13.
In July 2013 he then returned home to Abergavenny to work as a paralegal at Morgans for some years, gaining experience in a variety of practice areas. In 2016 he began his period of recognised training, qualifying into the practice following this.
At Morgans Fred works principally within the areas of Conveyancing, Private Client, Contentious Probate and Landlord and Tenant work.
As well as these Fred deals with Agricultural & Forestry work, Boundary & Access Disputes.
Fred is happy to see clients at the office or in their own homes if this is required.
Fred is an Abergavenny local, having been born and brought up here. He lives in Llangenny, just outside Crickhowell with his wife and dog Ronald.
Hobbies & Interests
As well as working as a solicitor, Fred is an active volunteer with the Monmouthshire District Scouts, serving as trustee, campsite warden and in various other roles since returning to the area in 2013.
Fred is also an active scout leader at First Gilwern Scout Group.
A keen citizen of Abergavenny, Fred is also a Town Councillor for Abergavenny's Cantref Ward and has served the community in this position since 2017. Through this he has served as a trustee or observer on various organisations including the local CAB, King Henry VIII trust and others.
In his free time, Fred likes to get out in the hills and on the land, helping to manage the Scouts' woodland at Llangenny and going further afield with friends and family. He is also a member of XABA Mountaineering Club and visits the club hut in Snowdonia when ever he can.
